Placements and Internships
- Internship are not at all compulsory (except for Mining Engineering branch).
- Number of companies coming for placements vary from branch to branch.
- Each years placements through campus can be checked on VNIT's official website.
- Placements are quite good for CSE, EEE, E&TC, MECHANICAL and CIVIL branches.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The hostel fee is around 55,000 rupees per annum (including mess charges).
- Hostels are adequate and the environment is great inside hostels.
- Excellent infrastructure.

- JEE Main score (AIEEE score in old days) is considered for admission into Visvesaraya National Institute of Technology, [VNIT] Nagpur.

Academics & Faculty : Faculty of college is well qualified and experienced in field of teaching, students sometimes complain about their willingness to teach, and their experience, or the lack of it. The mechanical department faculty is excellent, but the students from the electronics department are full of complaints about their staff.
