Placements and Internships
- The internship is compulsory for the students here in Regional Institute of Education. It has 125 marks weightage. We don't get any stipend for the internship.
- The private schools and organisations from various parts of the country hire the students through placement. The average salary provided is the nearly 250000per year. The highest salary amounts 300000 per annum. Nearly 60-70% of the students get placed.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 4 hostels. 2 boys hostels and 2 girls. Hostels are very good and the fees for the hostel is 5000 per year in Regional Institute of Education.
- The quality of food is ok. It costs 1600 per month and provides breakfast and two meals a day.
- The quality of classroom is super it has CCTV camera in all classes. Multimedia and ICT-equipped classrooms are available.
- The labs are good.
- The library is the centre of attraction. It has more than 70000 books and online journals and many articles available. Biometric is available in the library. There are 4 big halls in the library with different sections.
- Wifi facility is available in the college building. The playground is very fine. There are 2 guest houses.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria for the admission is 12th class pass to get into the Regional Institute of Education.
- we have to clear an entrance exam that is CEE. This exam is conducted in June.
- The cutoff is not specified.
Academics and Faculty
- The daily routine classes timing in Regional Institute of Education is from 9:15 am to 1:10 pm with a 10-minute recess. And again 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Each period is 45 minutes. There are exams of 2 types one is an internal exam and another the external conducted by the University.
- The quality of Education is great. The method of teaching is fantastic.
- Thus the college is overall a good place to nurture the knowledge.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fees is 8900 here in Regional Institute of Education.
- The Scholarship options are available. NCERT provides the scholarship and we can also opt for a state scholarship.Nearly all students get a scholarship of any one type.
- The loan is not required.
Clubs and Associations
- The student society is not formed yet in Regional Institute of Education. Here all students are equal.
- The main festival of college is the students Council activities and the annual function.
- The life in this college is really great and safe. There is no involvement of external agencies in college so its very well.
