Placements and Internships

4

  • The Alumni network in Nirma has a deep influence on study course as well as the developing world and so the system is always up-to-date.
  • You will for sure get placement if you don't fail a subject or get detained and there are ample opportunities in IT market and interestingly EC engineers do get many core company chances!
  • Alongside Internships and projects being high credited in the course grading, you would find an amazing experience.
  • The Average is almost 3.5lpa, Highest this year going to EC department of around 11lpa and almost 80% campus placement if one doesn't fail or get detained!

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4.5

  • There are No Hostels in Campus and being a localite, I don't know much about it.But I do know there some great PG's around and some worst Hostels too, But accommodation is easy.
  • The Nirma Food is as per me very good. There is the Fixed thali with 2 sabzis, 8 rotis, a sweet, rice and daal for 65, Chinese is for 40-60, South Indian in around the same rate, The Breakfast in less than 30 Rs. and 4 canteens in the whole campus.
  • The Labs are average, EC block is blessed with the best classrooms, Infrastructure is amazing, so much greenery in there but you are fined for walking on the lawn, 2 big grounds, above average libraries and its content, reading rooms are too less.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

  • One needs to have opted CBSE 10+2 or Gujarat board 10+2 with JEE being the compulsory exam.
  • The Admissions in Nirma are done through ACPC, All India rank, NRI basis.
  • The Cut-offs are around 140 in JEE Mains or lower than 2000 rank in ACPC

Academics and Faculty

4

  • The Class timings are usually 9-4 or 11-6 everyday meaning at least 7 hours of classes combine with Labs and Tutorials. Continuous Evaluation is ultimate stress and it ends up as 30% of your total evaluation. The workload is too high each week and 3 exams per Semester so almost an exam after 1.5 month means no time to waver much.
  • The Quality is turning out to be not the best but well above average Depends of faculties which are not much senior!
  •  85%Compulsory attendance gives all the goods away You will end up writing assignments for even 3 bunks in a semester. And with that above-mentioned workload, it becomes very tough to give in everything and then you end up missing the fun and exploration of Technology and yourself in all the heist. But I still will give it 8/10

Fees and Scholarships

3

  • The Fees 1.8lakhs per sem inclusive all studying related stuff.
  • There are many scholarship options on Merit & mean basis by Nirma, alongside 3 seats which would be totally free as declared by ACPC, also MYSY and all other scholarship are also there. The Top 5 student from each batch, 25 by family income and other scholarship are also added so 10% public is on scholarship.

Clubs and Associations

4.5

  • Around 5 social clubs and 2 of them being the best arch rivals and another one in the growing age. There are 2 high-end technical Clubs Rubicon and Baja for total geeks need commitment more than real.Moz Nirma just started this year. So many clubs so many fests you will end up having a great every month, with some good celebrities, amazing talent hunts and feasts.
  • The technical fest is the best in state and also workshops are always very educating. With all the workload and dying attendance, it is still a great college to be in.
  • If you get yourself through all the Rules and all the study heist you are going to enjoy the atmosphere and all the social sidekicks of the college life! I rate it in the third highest batch of engineering colleges in India you have really got to consider it as it also being Private Institute placements are too good so if ready for giving all time in for workload and wrenching schedules then it is real gold!

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To be eligible for ITNU, you have to qualify JEE MAINS with good scores. You are selected on the basis of ITNU MERIT list, which has to be really good for getting a decent branch.
