Placements and Internships
- The placement department is average, almost all the computer science branch students are placed in IT companies namely Infosys but it is not the case in IT department at Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology.
- The average salary offered is around Rs. 3.5 lakhs pa.
- Apart from IT companies, many good software companies also visit the campus namely SAP, SAPIENT, ERICSON.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The infrastructure is not that good at Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology has it have very less space.
- No availability of hostel although PGs can be found easily nearby and at a reasonable cost.
- The college canteen is quite good provides healthy food and which cost around Rs. 50 to Rs. 60 per meal.
- The quality of classrooms and labs is good but due to less skilled faculty, the labs are not utilized properly.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria for getting admission in Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology is passing the 12th and clearing the IPUCET exam.
- The entrance exam which I took was IPUCET for undergraduate courses.
- The cut-offs are quite high, a student should have a rank between 10000 to 12000 rank for general category.
Academics and Faculty
- The classes at Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology are from 8 am from morning to 2:30 pm in afternoon.
- The faculty and their quality of teaching are not that good.
- The overall experience in the college is quite good.
Fees and Scholarships
- My course fees at Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology is around Rs. 90,000 per year which in compare to other private colleges is quite reasonable.
- Scholarships are available to Sikh minority students as it is Sikh minority college, so minority scholarships are available.
Clubs and Associations
- There are a lot of societies in Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology and students are quite intelligent. Some societies are Drama society, Dance etc.
- The main festival of college is GATES. It is the college festival which takes place annually in March or April for 3 days and it is excellent.
- The life in college is amazing with so many awesome and always smiling faces around you wich make your day.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria is 65% in 10+2, Science stream. You have to take up IPU-CET and the ranks are released on the university website, According to which courses are allotted. There are Three courses, Computer science, Electrical and Information Technology.

Placements & Internships : Unlike tier-1 colleges, companies don't come here to give you internships. So, if you are keen on doing internships, you'll have to work for them on your own. You can use portals like internshala, LinkedIn and intern theory. Students who have the potential and the skills do bag quality internships, like my friend did from Microsoft. The pay is handsome too, INR 45k a month. Companies coming on campus are good, like Samsung, HCL, Accenture, IBM etc. The average salary ranges from INR3-6 lakhs. Highest salary went upto INR12 lakhs last year. About 60-70% of the batch ends up getting placed, depending on the number of students who do sit in the placements. A fraction of students do decide to go for higher studies or opt for off campus placement. Alumni network does consist of a few famous names, like actress Tapsee Pannu of Bollywood fame

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission in this college is done by the common admission test conducted by the Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University. It is a Sikh minority college but with a good score, anyone can get admission.
