- I have done an internship at a startup in a web development team.
- We have a separate placement cell in Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College.
- Many companies visit the campus for placement with an average package of Rs. 2.5 lakhs pa and highest package is Rs. 10 lakhs pa.
- The alumni network is good.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are a girl and a boys hostel inside Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College campus and a staff quarters too.
- The fees are not decided but as it is centrally funded college. It will be very low comparatively.
- Yes, many PGs are available for Rs. 6k-7k pm.
- Food is nice. You get a mini thali of rice/chapati and dal/sabzi for around Rs. 25 and a full thali with 4 chapatis, sabzi, daal, rice and salad for Rs. 40.
- The canteen is large enough and the hygienic food is served. Everyday you have something special.
- As new campus has been built, it has 6 floors, lifts are there. Each department has its own lecture hall, classrooms, library etc. You have an auditorium too.
- Wifi facility is right now restrcited to library and labs.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria to join Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is merit based and on the basis of class XII result.
- Du releases it cut offs for all the colleges and courses available. If you are eligible, you can enroll yourself, later the next cut-offs are released depending on the seat availability.
- The first cut off is mostly around 96% for general for my course. There was 3% concession for girls at my time.
Academics and Faculty
- The class timings at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College are from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
- Your internal assessment is strictly based on tests, projects, and assignments.
- The faculty has a good knowledge. Almost all of them are PhDs and some of them have done their Mtech from IIIT.
Fees and Scholarships
- Course fee at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is Rs. 10,000 per annum.
- Yes, financial assistance is provided to the students.
- In my department, around 10 students get a scholarship every year.
- Sorry, no idea about loans.
Clubs and Associations
- You have dance society, singing society, kalamkar, every department has its own society at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College.
- Like CS has Sanganika, each department has their own fests at a larger scale.
- The college has its own functions celebrated, seminars being held, workshops being conducted.
- Life in college is good.
