• Internship options are available.

• Key companies such as L&T, INFOSYS, TCS, WIPRO, HONDA, MARUTI, NESTLE, INDIAN ARMY, INDIAN NAVY etc. come for placements.

• Average salary figures are INR  4,20,000, highest salary figures are INR 12,50,000  and about 65-70 % students are placed per year

• The alumni have spread throughout the country in different companies and they come to us on half yearly basis for student interaction session

• There are all total 13 hostels in the campus of which 10 are for boys and remaining 3 are for the girls. Here there is no seperate hostel fee per month, hostel fee is adjusted in the semester fee which is INR 26,000 for the UG program.

• There are PG's available outside the campus costing INR 5,000 PA.

• The food quality is good on the campus. There is mess in every hostels and the charge per meal INR 75 per day for three times meal.

• Everything is provided in the campus itself, classrooms are neat and clean with spacious rooms, there are lecture hall also, Labs are well equipped with machines in each department, Library is there in the centre of the campus and even departmental library is also there for the students and teachers.There is avilability of Wifi throughout the campus and in the hostel also we get wifi facility and we get daily 1GB data for our use.

• The infrastructure of the college is  really awesome. 

• The eligibility criteria for the course in Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology is JEE MAINS exam which is conducted by MHRD and the admission procedure is  through the central counseling which is JoSAA every year.

• The cutoffs for the course is AIR 50,000.

• The daily routine comprises of the classes from 8.30 AM to 1.30 PM and 1.30 PM to 2.30 PM. There is lunch hour and then again 2:30 PM to 4.30 PM.

• The teaching involves the theory, tutorial, and practical classes and everything has credit for itself. The method of teaching is nice.

• My overall experience in the college campus is really good.

• The course fee is INR 52,000 PA for the degree program.

• The scholarships which are offered by the state government are available to the students as well as the scholarships offered by the MHRD is avilable for the students.

• In a class of 60 students, only about 10-12 students get scholarships yearly.

• Loan options are available.

There are many student societies and clubs in the campus some of which are as follows:-

• Sliet Automation and Robotics society
• Indian Society for technical education

There are two main  festivals which are celebrated throughout the year one is MADHURAM (cultural fest) and METAMORPHOSIS (technical festival) and annual sports day celebrated every year.

The life in the campus is really awesome.
