Placements and Internships

In the first year, you can fill the form of placement cell and they start providing you the internship.
Many companies hire from Maitreyi college, Delhi University, New Delhi and the package they provide is Rs 16 lakhs per annum and the average salary figure is Rs 6 lakhs per annum

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

No hostel is there at the college but there are so many hostels near the college and PG is also provided at very low cost.
The food in college is not very good and costly also. The per plate they cost 30rs but the quality and quantity of food are very less.
The quality of classroom is good but the labs of college are very good.
The library is very large but the behavior of library people is rude.
Large playground and lots of social activities are provided by Maitreyi college, Delhi University, New Delhi.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

The eligibility criteria for BTech course is merit based.
After passing 12th student fill the online application form which is provided on DU website, fill all the details in form i.e your 12th percentage, your interested course you want to take admission etc.
After that the cut-off list is provided by the website for all the colleges and courses.
The typical cut-off for the are course is 97% gor gen, 89% for OBC and etc. to get into Maitreyi college, Delhi University, New Delhi

Academics and Faculty

The daily routine is good and classes start in morning but vary sometimes. projects and assignments marks calculate in your internals and student internals are based on projects, assignments and test.
The quality and method of teaching are good at Maitreyi college, Delhi University, New Delhi.
If you have any problem with anything you also change your teacher by writing the application to the HOD.
There are some people who are not very polite to students in college office or there are some teachers also.
In the office, they also don't listen to your complaints no matter how good you are.
The overall experience is good especially in my department all the teacher are very nice and polite.

Students can fill the scholarship form as per their eligibility.
The scholarship form is available every year in the month of August.
The average number of students who get a scholarship is 60% and there is another scholarship form for the student who gets fewer marks (less than 60%).
Books scholarship is also available.
You don't need a loan at Maitreyi college, Delhi University, New Delhi.

Clubs and Associations

So many societies are there in college. so many to count even there are two-two societies for single talent, for example-there are three dance societies in college namely dance, fashion, debate, singing, drama.
So many fests are there that you cannot even count.
Each department has their own fest and then college fest and then university fest.
The life in the college is very good in Maitreyi college. You cannot bore in this college.
