Placements and Internships
- I have completed my summer internship from NTPC Dadri plant.
- Companies visiting for placement are Tata Consultancy Services, Tech Mahindra, Sopra Group, Birlasoft Capgemini, NEC, Cruizeline Shipmanagement etc. These are on campus placement, but the management also has many contacts with pool drives in other colleges/universities.
- Average salary package ranges from 3.5-6 lakhs per annum, but last year the highest package was 18 lakhs.
- About 80-90% students get placed every year.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The campus is lush green, has a good cafeteria and playgrounds
- All classrooms are of lecture theatre type with projectors for video presentation, having wifi and centralised air conditioning.
- ABESCE campus has furnished hostels, 4 for boys and 1 for girls.
- Yes, PGs are also available near the college.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- To be eligible for admission in ABES Engineering College, one must have passed class 12 with overall aggregate of 80% and at least 85+ aggregate in subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
- The above criteria apply for direct admission by contacting the college.
- Entrance exam to get admission in ABES is UPSEE, with all India rank under 10000-12000.
Academics and Faculty
- The daily routine is very strict in the first year. Class timings are from 8:30am to 4:30pm 6 days a week with a lunch break.
- Weekly and monthly tests are conducted as well as end semester exams.
- Along with clearing 1st year the student is also engaged in some national and international projects, making the schedule very hectic. One can feel the pressure of engineering participating in these.
- Method of teaching is very nice, using video animations and practical demonstrations in labs.
Fees and Scholarships
- Tuition fee for B. Tech is Rs. 1,20,000 and hostel fee is about Rs. 85,000.
- Students can obtain scholarships from Government of UP. Scholarships are given depending on family income.
- I do not know about loan procedure but many students do take educational loans from major banks.
Clubs and Associations
- Many student clubs run parallel with the academics in ABESCE like Technovation, Literary Club, Theatre Club, ACM etc.
- The college students have an NGO named HUHC.
- The main cultural fest of the college is Genero. There is also a Tech Fest, and Utsaah - the sports fest.
- College life is very exciting.
- There are many challenges in academics and the other aspects depend on a student's lifestyle.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : In the ABES Engineering College admission are via Jee mains ranking, UPSEE and management quota I.e. on the basis of your senior secondary result. For getting into mechanical engineering branch, rank must not be more than 7000 for general category.

Academics & Faculty : Good. Not so excellent but the teaching level is ok. Project work is very low. Overall experience is well. I really enjoyed my college life.
