Placements and Internships
- Infosys, TCS, Musigma are the key companies visiting SRMIMT.
- The average salary figure is Rs 3.2 lakhs per annum for all IT companies.
- Indian navy also recruits through our college.
- Well, the alumni network is quite in contact with juniors and teachers.
- They do visit the college for a reunion and other stuff.
- Overall experience is nice.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- 5 hostel blocks are there and the fee is Rs 80,000 per year.
- Nearby, a lot of PGs are available for students.
- Well, food is exquisite and yummy at SRMIMT.
- The quality of Infrastructure is nice in Labs and other things.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- There was SRMJEEE entrance examination for SRM university.
- I secured 27,000 rank(approx) and got admission into the civil department in NCR campus.
- The eligibility criteria are to have 12th standard pass percentage as 65% without any Arrears.
- Generally, they take students up to 35,000 rank.
- Other than that I gave AIEEE(not selected)
Academics and Faculty
- The class timings are from 9am-4.30pm at SRMITM.
- HOD is quite strict when it comes to studies.
- Need to work hard.
- Well, the quality and method of teaching are up to the mark.
- All teachers are Mtech professionals in their field.
- Overall experience is good to study here.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee is Rs 2,10,000, Rs 80,000 is the hostel fee and Rs 15,000 is the book fee, Rs 15,000 is the CDC fees.
- Other than that examination fee is Rs 2700 per sem.
- Well, only toppers get a scholarship with a waiver of 25% from the fees.
- Well, 20 students get tuition waiver every year.
- No loans are provided at SRMIMT.
Clubs and Associations
- Stage, Hypergreen, Natak dekho, Iste chapter are some of the student societies present at SRMIMT.
- The main festival on campus is Innovate, Rubaroo, Vajra.
- The life in college is quite nice in all aspects, crowd is also very enthusiastic.
