Placements and Internships
- I did my training from nfl which was for 6 weeks.
- Placements were good in electronic and c.s. branches but in mechanical it was very week.
- UCoE doesn't have a very good alumni network.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Hostels were provided on the basis of quota both based on marks and Punjabi quota which was 85% and other states quota which was 15%.
- Hostel fee was 30000 per year.
- Wifi was not available in UCoE campus
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Admission procedure was based on AIEEE ranking.
- For Other states the rank cut-off was about 78000. Punjab was like 250000 rank.
Academics and Faculty
- We used to have classes 5 days a week with an average of 5 classes in a day.
- Projects were random and internal marks were awarded on the basis of those assignments.
- Quality of teaching is good. The regular professors were good. Some professors were on contract basis and were not very good.
- Overall it was cool experience with nice bit of exposure. Environment inside UCoE was very good.
Fees and Scholarships
- Course fee for UCoE Per year was Rs 88000.
- There were no scholarship options for General category students.
- Loans were not provided on college level.
Clubs and Associations
- Only festival on campus was cryspolestia
- Rest were gaming compitions.
- Life in UCoE college was good.
- No elections were performed so no politics was there.
