Placements and Internships

1.5

  • The placements as far as electronics and communication branch is concerned is ZERO ! NO EXPOSURE IN TERMS OF INDUSTRIAL TRAINING.
  • No core companies visit the campus and majority of ECE students are not placed. The major recruiter is TCS which offers Rs 3.3 LPA that too for IT AND COMPUTER SCIENCE STUDENTS. This college's rank is 1 in all the IP COLLEGES BUT it's not a good college. So, I would advise any fresher to think twice before opting for electronics and communication engineering in USICT.
  • The alumni network is zero.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3.5

  • 3 hostels ( 2 for boys and 1 for girls). Hostels are great and fee is Rs 50000 annually.
  • Quality of food in college is great, the canteen is awesome and spacious, the rates of food are very reasonable, somewhere around Rs 35 for a thaali.
  • Quality of classrooms is great, huge library, 2 GB data per day for a student. Wifi speed is blazing fast. Overall infrastructure is awesome.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

  • 60℅ and above is needed in 12th standard. The level of entrance exam is good enough.
  • IPU CET is the individual entrance test for admission. It is pretty tough to get in here.
  • The cutoffs are highest for computer science followed by electronics and then IT.

Academics and Faculty

1

  • Schedule is hectic but no one gives a dime.

  • The quality of professors is zero and they are a waste of time and effort.

  • Overall experience is not good as far as academics and placements are concerned but the campus is beautiful ,green and peaceful. Its huge as well ,located in Dwarka, quite secluded a place,it is !

Fees and Scholarships

4.5

  • The annual fee is around Rs 50000, which is decent enough.
  • Scholarship is awarded to BPL students who are meritorious i.e. toppers of the respective branches. 2
  • 2-3 students get full fee reimbursement in every branch. Indian bank provides
  • Indian bank provides loan if needed at all.

Clubs and Associations

1.5

  • Only dramatics and few dance societies. Anugoonj is the main cultural fest, it's a GRAND EVENT, Perhaps the best in DELHI.
  • INFOX is tech fest, it's horrible.
  • Life in college is fun filled but academically it's awful for electronics people, for others it is great.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The University has its own entrance exam, IPU CET. You have to be at least in the top 200 to secure a seat in the main campus.
