Placements and Internships
- IMS Engineering College offers many on-campus and out-campus industrial internship for the students. But these internships are self-paid.
- The TCS is a major recruiter in the campus. Other core companies are Kamdhainu Steel's, Amul, Sri Ram Pistons etc.
- Every year almost 55% students are placed through on-campus placements drives. But again their is always variation in placement every year depending upon the market demand.
- The College has a very strong alumni network named as IMSEC AlmaConnect, which connect every student, faculty, and alumni within a roof.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 4 hostel present in IMS Engineering College out of which 1 separate hostel is for Girls and 3 hostels for Boys.
- 2 Mess and 3 Canteen are available within the campus.
- The hostel Fess is Rs. 65 thousand including mess charge for a year.
- Mess include Breakfast, Lunch, evening Snacks, and Dinner.
- Many Private PGs are available near the College charging around Rs. 50 thousand per year including food cost.
- The wifi facility is available on the campus. All required labs and libraries are available.
- The College has various organizations powered labs like Intel lab, MSME lab, Google-powered labs etc.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria for joining IMS Engineering College is clearing the UPSEE exam. The students can get admission based on management quota also.
- The cut-off for the course is 1000 AIR in UPSEE exam.
- For the management quota students, they should get a minimum of 80% of marks in 12th.
- There is a separate examination conducted by the university for getting admission.
Academics and Faculty
- IMS Engineering College follows a very strict schedule. The Final Exam is conducted by APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (AKTU), A state government University.
- My experience about the faculties is super. The every Lecture here is having at least a Master Degree holder from reputed Colleges and University.
- Special teaching training is given to the faculty. A special attention is given to the weak students and the department is always connected with the parents via e-mail, messages etc.
- The overall experience is good.
Fees and Scholarships
- The Fees structure is framed by Uttar Pradesh Government and currently, it is Rs. 1 lakh 15 thousand for One year at IMS Engineering College.
- Lots of government scholarship are available for students. The decision on scholarship is governed by UP government.
- Loan facility is also available within the College campus during admission process from various banks.
- Although the fees are one-time payment basis but can be split in 2-3 installment on special permission ( which is always Permitted).
Clubs and Associations
- IMS Engineering College has different student societies like macho Club, robot club etc.
- The Biggest college fest is Diwali and Eid Night which is celebrated on the campus.
- State level sports fest and major fest are also organized timely.
- The life in college is good enough for learning.
