- NIFT Kangra has a good alumni network as it's 7th year of running successfully.
- Key companies like Bollywood Production houses, Television Production houses, large retailers, Brand marketers, e-retailers, textile mills, home furnishing companies, etc. visit our college. - For the bachelor's programme average annual salary has been Rs. 4 lakhs per annum and highest has been Rs 12 lakhs per annum.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 4 girls hostels in the campus which are fine and fee per month is Rs. 2330/-.
- Food is fine and it costs Rs 40 to 50 per meal.
- The quality of classrooms, labs, libraries, Wi-fi is pretty fine.
Academics and Faculty
- Class starts at 9am- 1am and the second half of the day starts at 1pm- 4pm. We have less pressure of exams but the pressure of assignments is high.
- Quality and method of teaching are appropriate as a design college deserves to be.
- The overall experience in college is amazing as it's a college for designers meaning by new ideas and lots of creativity.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee per year is INR 1,75,000/- approx including the hostel fee.
- Subsidies are available for students with insufficient money background on the basis of annual income of the family.
- Average number of students getting incentives are around 25.
- Loan is granted by Union Bank of India which operates with Nift kangra. Other banks also provides educational loans.
Clubs and Associations
- Life in NIFT Kangra is pretty peaceful and nice. Surrounded by scenic beauty the campus is really nice place to be.
- Almost every festival is celebrated in this college with a pinch of creativity.
