Placements and Internships
- There is assistance from placement officer for scholarship and also there are many examinations for internship at Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science, [SGSITS] Indore.
- There are many MNCs recruiting through my college. I belonging to mechanical branch can say that it is one of the best in providing placement equivalent to regional engineering colleges in Central India. The list of recruiters can be seen at official site.
- Highest package from Computer Science is around Rs. 12,00,000/- per annum with average around Rs 6l lakhs per annum. While for core branches average is between Rs. 4,00,000/- to Rs. 6,00,000/- PA. Highest from core being Rs. 10,00,000/- PA. Most of the toppers from departments enter to PSU and government institute. Also many enter top IIMs and IITs for master degree. Almost 80% of batch receive final year placement. I myself received multiple offers.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 5 hostels buildings 3 boys 2 girls at Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science, [SGSITS] Indore. The gender diversity is good. In computer Science and Information Technology it is 2 :1 ratio of girls to boys and in other departments it is atleast 30% of girls. The hostel fee is very economic less than Rs 6k per semester including mess.
- The food quality is decent. For 1st years students there is new fully wi-fi enabled building. The library is one of the largest in campus library with computer lab as well.
