- Though a relatively young college, SCMHRD has created its own brand. Most of the students are engineers or working professionals and in the average age group of 22-26 and are from specializations such as Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR and Infrastructure Management.
- Summer Process sees a lot of leading FMCG and FMCD organizations like P&G, HUL, ITC, Philips, Marico, GSK-Consumer Healthcare and Dabur recruiting talent from the vast and diverse talent pool.
- Finance students were offered coveted projects in Investment Banking by stalwarts like JP Morgan Chase and Goldman Sachs.
- Corporates such as Mahindra & Mahindra, Perfetti Van Melle, L'Oreal, Gartner, Idea, Cummins, Pidilite strengthened their relationship with SCMHRD by offering internship opportunities.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The infrastructure is decent as the college campus is relatively small. The campus is situated in Hinjewadi area, particularly known as IT hub, which is pretty far from Pune main city. The auditorium is huge and modern with a 300 seating capacity.
- SCMHRD has a well-equipped and air-conditioned library.
- The campus also has a gymnasium, workout hall for Yoga & Aerobics and an indoor swimming pool with training facilities.
- The institute provides facilities for sports like Cricket, Basket Ball, and Table Tennis.
- Health care facilities are available on campus. The college is completely wi-fi enabled.
- The campus is green and is a vehicle free zone. No bikes are allowed on the campus.
Academics and Faculty
- The course curriculum of SCMHRD is well structured. The permanent faculty help in building a strong foundation and the visiting faculty share their industry experience and advanced learning concepts.
- A foundation course in the form of an e-learning module is also offered two months prior to a commencement of classes.

Fees and Scholarships
- The MBA fee structure of SCMHRD Pune is approximately FRs, 11 lakhs per annum, which includes the hostel as well as mess fee as well.

- This is one of the unique features of SCMHRD. Hence, there is a real-time learning along with the theoretical studies.
- In addition to this, there are numerous committees like Marketing Club, Music Club, SCOPE, HR-Forum, Finance club, Guest Lecture ,Prayatna (which strives for social change through educating underprivileged children), SHAPATH (an effort by the students against human trafficking), NEEV (one of the largest B-School festivals in the country) etc all.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria is 50% and the admission process is purely online. One has to clear SNAP and a process of interviews to get admission and the typical cutoff is somewhere around 80

Entrance Exams & Admissions : SCMHRD takes SNAP scores for admission. The cut off for the year 2015 was 96% with 87 marks in the exam. After clearing the SNAP score, there is a WAT and GDPI process, clearing which you get admission in the SCMHRD. The weight age is given to the SNAP score is 50, 20 for WAT, 10 for GD, 20 for PI. The results get declared in March and course commences form June.
