I haven't done internship yet but one of my seniors whom I know has got his job in a finance company with a salary of Rs.16000 per month as fresher.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Hostel Facilities are Available. Quality of food served in college canteen is average as the cost of food is cheap. Classrooms are usual and the college has two libraries of which one is huge.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Heramba Chandra college is one of the best colleges of kolkata under calcutta university. A candidate must have above 80% score in 12th Boards Examination for applying in any course in this college.
Academics and Faculty
College timing starts from 11:45 and ends to 4:45. Total 5 periods are there including a break time of 15 to 20 min after the 3rd period. The college has very good teachers whose teaching methods are good. My overall experience is nice in this college.
Fees and Scholarships
My course fees is upto Rs.7000 per annum for B.Com honours course (including university examination fees). Any candidate who is eligible for National Scholarship of government of WB can submit their scholarship forms in the college. Above average number of students get scholarship in this college as no compromises are made with education.
Clubs and Associations
Life in college is very joyful where you meet many people of diverse mind. Every one has their goal and is doing things of his or her interest.
