I haven't done yet but many of my batchmates do. This course is not that much useful in individual companies but because the remote sensing technologies, software companies, Google, hui are interested in hiring us.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
No hostels are really expensive. Hostel fees range between Rs.6000 to Rs.12000 per month. Food is good and cost is high. Infrastructure is not that much good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
On the basis of 12th grade marks the selection is done. No entrance test given. 99 to 85% cutoff are typical cutoff for this course.
Academics and Faculty
Classes are from 8:30 to 3:30. Many projects and assignments are given, and exams are held at the end of semesters and mid-semester tests too. It depends upon different faculties but than also it can be said good. Experience is quite good here.
Fees and Scholarships
Course fee is Rs. 8800 per year fees. Very limited options for scholarship is available. 10 to 15 students get scholarships. No, loans aren't needed.
Clubs and Associations
CDMS, fine art societies, dancing and singing societies, NSS, NCC, Hadith karam and many more programs are staged. Teacher's day, Shaheed Bhagat Singh anniversary,Iindependence day, diwali, dussehra, etc. Pretty good life here.
