Entrance Exams & Admissions : Amrita has its own entrance exam since it's a deemed university. The student should apply for the entrance exam which will be conducted during the month of April. The entrance exam is AEEE which stands for amrita entrance examination. The minimum eligibility criteria for the exam is a pass in 10+2 or its equivalent. The exam should be fairly easy with proper preparation. Admission is based on the rank you score in AEEE. A counselling will be held based on the rank. During the counselling session, you can choose your course and college as amrita university has 4 colleges in engineering. You will be allotted seat as per availability. The seats will be served on the basis of rank in AEEE. Electrical and electronics engineering is not a high demand in Amrita Puri campus. So you will be able to get a seat in the course easily.
