Entrance Exams & Admissions : Candidates having a 10+2 level or equivalent degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are considered to be eligible for applying in B.Tech programme. The institute organizes two different admission procedures based on the available seats for the candidates. 85% of the available seats are filled through an entrance examination conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. The candidates are allotted branches on the basis of their merit through counseling conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. For 15% seats candidates can apply for direct admission to the RKGIT. Admission will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in qualifying exam and /or respective entrance exam as per the policies of the University.
