Placements and Internships
- The college provides an ample amount of internships in good companies.
- The companies offer internships in various fields for a good amount of stipend.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are boys and girls hostel, and the hostel infrastructure is really good.
- The hostel provides a nutritious diet.
- There are a good number of PG options available outside the college.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Amrita School of Business, Kochi, is securing a minimum of 50% aggregate in class 10, 12 and degree examinations.
- Entrance examination marks are also considered. Students should obtain a minimum of 60% aggregate marks at the entrance.
- The entrance examination that I have opted for is the Management Aptitude Test (MAT).
- A minimum of Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 5.0 is required for the first year, 1,2 and 3 trimesters, to be promoted to the second year.
- A minimum CGPA of 5.0 is required to clear the second year, 4, 5 and 6 trimesters.
Academics and Faculty
- The classes are from Monday to Saturday. The timings are from 9 AM to 5 PM.
- The assignments are given after 4 to 5 sessions. The assignments are given depending on the subjects.
- The teachers will assign the projects at the end of the trimester, and it will be a group project.
- The quality and method of teaching is really good. The faculty are warm and friendly. They guide us and clear our doubts instantly.
- It is a wonderful experience at Amrita. The teachers and faculty are amazing.
Fees and Scholarships
- Amrita School of Business, Kochi Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 6,84,500 for two years, that is INR 3,47,250 per annum.
- The college waives off the first year fees for the students who are eligible for scholarships.
- A good amount of scholarships is given to the students by the college. Therefore, they should be scoring above the cut off marks issued by the college to be eligible for scholarships.
- There are a lot of loan options given by the college. The students can obtain a loan easily from the Vidhya Lakshmi portal.
Clubs and Associations
- There are several clubs at the college.
- Darpan team members take part in publishing newsletters and articles of the events that have taken place at college.
- Omkara team is responsible for all the cultural events conducted on the campus.
- There is a social outreach team that takes care of all the social events happening.
- A Niyukti team is the placement coordinating team for the MBA programme at Amrita, Kochi.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The students should have an aggregate of a minimum of 60 per cent in 10th, 12th, and in graduation. They should have also passed the MAT or similar entrance exams. I attended the MAT entrance exam. The cutoff is 75-80% marks or a CGPA of 5.0 and above in each trimester.
