Placements and Internships
The placement cell at SMK Fomra is a highly motivating cell. They trained us right from the basics for tackling GDs, aptitude tests, and technical objective MCQs. Their consistent effort peppered us to join core companies through on-campus placement drives.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Our Fomra green campus is spread over more than 20 acres. The college has an excellent Sporting complex within the lush green campus that encloses a Cricket Ground, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court, Tennis Court, Gym facilities for women sports, etc.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
I enrolled in SMKFIT though a merit scholarship based on my 12th academic performance, wherein my tuition fee was waived off.
Academics and Faculty
Our CSE department is equipped with smart classrooms, laboratories with Dell PCs, networked with IBM Servers. Apart from analogy/application driven classroom sessions, seminars, guest lectures, hands-on workshops & industrial visits, it resulted in sound knowledge and exposure to recent trends.
Fees and Scholarships
True to their advertised phrases, I wasn’t charged a tuition fee for all eight semesters since I consistently topped in academics. In my opinion, SMK Fomra is the best place for deserving candidates.
Clubs and Associations
Student cell activities at SMKFIT are highly engaged with various clubs such as the English club that enable students to improve vocabulary and hone communication skills. Being a student from the Tamil medium, it was a wonderful platform for me to overcome my inhibition and excel in GDS.
