# International Maths Olympiad Syllabus 2023

The International Maths Olympiad Exam includes all the concepts of academic boards. IMO questions paper will be based on the current class syllabus.

Further, on the page, we have listed all the important topics to be covered for International Maths Olympiad for every class.

## International Maths Olympiad Exam Pattern

The International Maths Olympiad Exam focuses mostly on subjects/topics covered in the respective classes. The mathematics paper has a total of 3 sections, the subjective part, HOT’s (high order thinking section), and the logical reasoning section. Students will be awarded one mark for each correct answer, and no marks will be reduced for unanswered questions or wrong answers.

 S.No Section Total Questions 1. Subjective 22 2. HOT's 3 3. Logical Reasoning 10

International Maths Olympiad question paper includes problem-based figure, series completion, the odd one out, coding-decoding, mirror images, embedded figures, symmetry, and alphabetical test questions. The difficulty level of the question paper varies according to the class. IMO questions are prepared by understanding the knowledge, ability, and reasoning capacity of each class.

All the chapters and topics covered are framed from the previous and current class syllabus. For every class, there is a sample question paper that students are supposed to attempt to make sure that they are thorough with the concepts.
