Hindustan Olympiad is a National Level multi-subject Olympiad for all the students from class 1st to 12th of a recognized school. Hindustan Olympiad prepares different exam papers for different levels. Those students who want to apply need to contact their school authorities.

Hindustan Olympiad 2024

The exam is organized by The Hindustan Times which is considered India's biggest Olympiad. Starting in 2017, it has empowered more than 8 lakhs students by providing them a platform to compete at the National level for the last 5 years. Students from class 1st to 12th of any recognized board/school are eligible to compete. This is a two-level exam where level one is open book and level two is proctored. The winners are recognized at the school, district, and state levels. From assessment reports to merit certificates to participation certificates students are also facilitated with their trophies and cash scholarship.

Hindustan Olympiad Important dates

The dates for the Hindustan Olympiad are announced. As per the previous year, registration for the Hindustan Olympiad started from the month of January and the exam was conducted in the first week of March. Also, the final results were announced approximately two weeks from the date of the exam. Further, the award and facilitation ceremony was held by the end of the month of March itself.

Hindustan Olympiad Registration and Fees

The registration dates are yet to be announced for the registration of the Hindustan Olympiad 2024 once it's open the candidates need to fill and submit the application fees of Rs.200/-, along with the signed and filled consent form by their parents.

The exams will be conducted online, so the students will be appearing for the exam from their respective homes using their laptops.

Hindustan Olympiad Exam Pattern

As mentioned earlier this is a two-level exam and will be conducted online and the candidates will give the exam from their homes.

Hindustan Olympiad is a two-level exam, conducted among the students from class 1st to 12th, level one- Open book, and level two- Proctored. The top 10 percent of students of level one get qualified for the level two exam and then the final winners are selected among them.

These are the details for the exam pattern mentioned below.

• Type of questions: Objective type multiple choices.
• Number of questions: 50
• Language of questions: Questions will be in both Hindi & English.
• Duration of exam: One hour only. Additional 10 minutes are provided for the OMR sheets and to read the instructions before the test begins.
• Marking: Each question carries 1 mark.
• Negative Marking: No negative marking.

Hindustan Olympiad Syllabus 

Unlike other Olympiad exams, the Hindustan Olympiad is not a one-subject exam it reveals the competence level in all major subjects, and every participant is given a certificate and an assessment report.

• For class 1st to 10th- English, Science, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Logical Reasoning.
• For class 11th and 12th-
• Science- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English, and Logic Reasoning.
• Commerce- Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, English and Logic Reasoning.
• Humanities- Geography, History, Political Science, English, and Logic Reasoning

Hindustan Olympiad Result

Soon after the exams are conducted, the authorities will declare the results. And students please note that all the prizes and awards are district and state level right now.

• The results will be sent to the school and will be uploaded on the Hindustan Olympiad’s official website.
• At the School level, all the participating students shall be given a participation certificate, a performance report, and an assessment report.
• At the District level, there is a cash scholarship prize of Rs.2100, a participation certificate, and a performance report.
• At the State level, there is a cash scholarship prize of Rs.5100, a merit certificate, trophies, participation certificate, and performance report.
• All the toppers will get their awards during a felicitation ceremony, however, if any student is unable to attend the ceremony, he/she can collect their award from the nearby Hindustan Times office.

Hindustan Olympiad Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the Hindustan Olympiad, the candidate needs to ensure his/her eligibility for the exam.
