The CREST Science Olympiad (CSO) is an international competitive exam held by CREST Olympiads. It is an online exam for students in classes Prep/KG and 1-10. For Prep/KG students, and grades 1-2, CSO is conducted as a single-level exam. Whereas for classes 3-10, CSO is conducted as a two-level exam. There are separate question papers for every class, and the medium of the exam is English. Crest Olympiad follows the same pattern as CBSE, ICSE/ISC, and state board syllabus of any recognized Indian board. The exam consists of two sections practical science and achievers section.

CSO 2024-25 Registration 

Students can either enroll through schools or by themselves. For student enrollment by schools, all schools registered with CREST Olympiads will be getting a prospectus containing the registration forms. Interested students can enroll their roll number and name to the school coordinator.   

For individual participant registration, students can register as individual participants via the CREST Olympiads' official website.

CSO 2024-25 Registration Fee 

For registration in national schools, the examination fee per subject for classes 1-10 is Rs. 225. The fee for students who study and reside outside India is $10 (US Dollars). The examination fee per subject for  Prep/KG students is Rs. 180. The cost for students who study and live outside India is $8 (US Dollars).

CSO 2024-25 Awards & Recognition 

For students of classes Prep/KG with more than 60% of marks, Crest Olympiad will be awarded a merit certificate and medal. Given below are the awards and recognition offered for classes 1 to 10.

The acknowledgment for class 1-2 students who appear in CSO exams is as follows:

  • The top 15 percent of students will receive a certificate of merit.
  • A medal and a certificate of merit will be awarded to the top 5 percent of students.
  • A certificate of merit will be awarded to the top 3 students from each school.
  • Top 3 students in classes 1-10 will receive an achiever's trophy and a merit certificate.

The acknowledgment for Class 3-10 students who appear in CSO exams is as follows:

  • All students who qualify for level 2 will receive a certification of merit.
  • The top 40 percent of students will receive a medal and a certification of merit.
  • If a student satisfies two criteria or more, students will be qualified for a higher award.
