What is CREST English Olympiad (CEO)?

The CREST English Olympiad (CEO) is an international competitive examination conducted by the CREST Olympiads. It's an online exam for students in Pre-KG and classes 1-10 and a single-level exam for Pre-KG students. Whereas for grades 3-10, the CEO is a two-level exam. There are separate question papers for each class, and the medium of examination is only English.

CREST English Olympiad 2024-25 Exam Dates

CREST English Olympiad (CEO) exam dates commence by November and December 2024. And the registration deadline falls on October 2024.

CREST English Olympiad 2024-25 Registration

Students can enroll through school or individual registration. For school enrolment, all schools registered with the CREST Olympiad will receive a prospectus containing CEO registration forms. Interested students can enroll their names in their school coordinator. Students can also register as individual participants. For individual registration, students can register via the CREST Olympiads official website.

For students who study and reside in India, the examination fee for classes 1-10 will be Rs.225, and for Pre-KG students, the fee will be Rs.180. Besides, the fee for students who study and reside outside of India is $10 (US dollars) and $8 (US Dollars) for classes 1-10 and Pre-KG students, respectively.

CREST English Olympiad 2024-25 Syllabus

CBSE, ICSE/ISC, and other state board syllabus are followed for Crest Olympiad test papers. The difficulty level varies as per the classes. For primary grades, the CEO syllabus has topics such as spellings, jumbled letters, the odd one out, etc. For higher grades, the syllabus includes topics such as nouns, pronouns, verbs & phrasal verbs, information retrieval, voices & narrations, etc.

CREST English Olympiad 2024-25 Exam Pattern

Crest Olympiad follows the same pattern as CBSE, ICSE/ISC, and any recognized Indian board. The exam consists of two parts that include the English language section and the achiever's section.

CREST English Olympiad 2024-25 Awards

All the participating students will receive a certificate of merit and a badge. The CEO awards and recognition are even offered for students of the Pre-KG class who appear in the CEO. Students will be offered a merit certificate, and a medal will be awarded to students who scored more than 60% on the exam.
