CREST Cyber Olympiad 2024

Crest Olympiads is one of the leading online Olympic organizations. The organization aims to assess the practical knowledge of students and help them to apply their learning in different fields. Besides, Crest Olympiads helps to develop the student's conceptual knowledge to be confident enough to face any competitive exam. CCO is one of the best platforms for students to learn and improve their skills and knowledge of computers and their advancements. The Olympiad helps students analyze their strengths and weaknesses based on their performance at the national level.

The CREST Reasoning Olympiad (CCO) is an international competitive exam held online for students in classes 1-10. The exam is an objective test that students need to complete in 60 minutes. Crest Olympiad follows the same pattern as CBSE, ICSE/ISC, and any other recognized Indian boards. The exam consists of two parts the logical reasoning section and the achiever's section.

CCO Exam Pattern

Exam pattern highlights for the CCO exam are given below.

CCO Registration 

Students from classes 1-10 are eligible to give CREST Olympiads. Students can enroll through school registration or individual registration. For school registration, all schools registered with the CREST Olympiad will receive a prospectus containing registration forms. Interested students should enroll their names and roll number to the school coordinator.

If schools don't participate in Crest Olympiad, students can also register as individual participants. For individual registration, students should register via the official CREST Olympiads website.

CCO Registration Fee

The examination fee for each subject is Rs. 225 for students studying and enrolling in India. The fee is $10 (US Dollars) for students studying and living outside India.

CREST Cyber Olympiad Syllabus

CBSE, ICSE/ISC, and other state board syllabus is followed for framing CCO exam paper. The difficulty level varies as per the classes. For primary classes, the CCO syllabus covers topics such as parts of the computer, MS-Paint, MS-Word, and MS- PowerPoint. For higher classes, the syllabus includes topics such as hardware, software, internet, e-mail, and the latest developments in the field of IT.

CCO Awards & Recognition

Students taking up the exam will receive a certificate of merit and a badge. The awards and recognition offered are given below: 

• The top 15% of students will earn a certificate of merit.
• A medal and a certificate of distinction will be presented to the top 5 percent of students.
• A certificate of merit will be awarded to the top 3 students (registered through school) from every school with more than 25 students in a class appearing for an Olympiad exam will be awarded a merit certificate.
• Top 3 students in classes 1-10 will receive an achiever's trophy and a merit certificate.
• A digital participation certificate will be awarded to each participant.
• If a student meets two conditions or more, they will be qualified for a higher award.
