TNPSC Group 4 Syllabus Sections

The TNPSC Exam syllabus consists of the following sections:

  1. Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test - The Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test has 100 questions for 150 marks. The questions will be asked from the SSC/ 10th level.
  2. Aptitude and Mental Ability test (SSLC Standard)- There will be 25 multiple choice questions in the Aptitude section that test your skills in Aptitude and Mental Ability.
  3. General Studies (SSLC Standard) - The GS section will have 75 questions from topics such as general science, current events, geography, history, politics, and economy.

TNPSC Group 4 Syllabus 2025 Important Points

Following are the important points of TNPSC 2025 Group 4 Syllabus.

  • The TNPSC Group 4 Prelims Exam will be conducted offline.
  • Candidates should write their responses on the OMR sheet that was provided to them by the exam body.
  • Out of the overall minimum qualifying marks, which are 90 points, candidates must receive a minimum of 60 points in Part B in order to examine the Answer Sheet.
  • The TNPSC's modified Group 4 Syllabus no longer includes the General English and General Tamil portions.
  • The General English and General Tamil parts have been replaced with a new section called the Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test in the updated TNPSC Group 4 Syllabus.
  • Negative marking is not applied in the TNPSC Group 4 exam.
  • After the exam is successfully administered, the TNPSC Answer Key is made accessible.
