RBI Assistant Exam Pattern 2023 involves three subjects in the Preliminary exam with 100 questions, each carrying 1 mark, and five subjects in the Mains exam with 200 marks, each carrying 1 mark. Candidates qualified in both the Prelims and Mains RBI Assistant 2023 examinations are allowed to appear for the Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

The Prelims and LPT are qualifying, and the overall merit list will be prepared completely based on the marks achieved in the Mains examination. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer, but no marks will be deducted for the unattempted questions.
