This is the only educational qualification set by the IIBF for the JAIIB exam 2023.

Experience

Experience plays a crucial role in the JAIIB eligibility criteria 2023. The IIBF has set strict rules related to the working experience of a candidate willing to appear for the JAIIB 2023 exam. The details about the working experience of an applicant to sit for the JAIIB 2023 exam are given below.

  • The candidate must be working in a banking or financial organisation.
  • The company in which the candidate is working must be a member of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance.
  • Candidate must hold the position of a clerk or supervisory staff cadre or above to be eligible for the JAIIB exam 2023.
  • A recommendation letter from their manager can be considered for those candidates who are not 12th passed, or it's equivalent.

Age Limit

Age limit is not a factor of consideration for any candidate sitting in the JAIIB exam 2023 as there is no age limit condition stated in the JAIIB eligibility criteria 2023. Other than the work background mentioned above, candidates in any age group can sit for the JAIIB exam 2023 provided they are 12th pass.

Number of Attempts

  • JAIIB exam is held twice in a single year. Candidates will be required to pass the examination within a time limit of 2 years. In total, they have 4 consecutive attempts to qualify for the JAIIB exam.
  • In case a candidate is unable to qualify for the JAIIB exam within the time frame of 2 years, they must re-enrol themselves afresh. It should be noted that these candidates will not be given any credits for the subjects they have passed in their prior attempts.
  • Two years will begin to run from the date of the first application. Any attempts a candidate makes will be counted, regardless of whether they appear for an examination.

Nationality

Nationality is an important consideration in the JAIIB eligibility criteria 2023, as anyone working with India in the banking and financial sector cannot appear in the JAIIB exam 2023. A candidate must be a citizen of India to appear for the JAIIB exam 2023.
