ESIC 2023 Exam Selection Procedure
Paper-1: Candidates are required to clear ESIC 2023 Exam Paper 1 in order to appear for Paper 2. Paper 1 is of total 200 marks and the duration is 2 hours.
Paper-2: Paper 2 is of 50 marks and 30 minutes will be provided to complete the paper.
Personal Interview: The conducting authority will decide the no. of students to go for the next round which is interview round. The candidates who qualify both the written papers will be called for the interview round.
Weightage of Marks
- Written Exam and Skill Test: 80%
- Interview: 20%
- Distribution of Marks:
- Written Exam: 80% (70% weightage)
- Computer Skill Test: 30% weightage respectively.

ESIC Recruitment 2023 - Contractual Resident/Senior Resident
PG Degree or equivalent qualification after MBBS with a minimum of 3 years experience after PG Degree/ with a minimum of 5 years experience after PG Diploma in respective specialties.
The candidates must have valid MCI registration.
Senior Resident Against GDMOs for 1 Year
- PG, MD, DNB or Diploma in the concerned Specialty from a recognized university, registered with the Medical Council of India(MCI) or State Medical Council
- The candidates having 2 years experience after MBBS, out of which 1-year experience in the concerned specialty as Junior Resident may also be considered
Payscale/Salary
- Contractual Specialist: INR 40000/- per month for five days a week, two sessions a day & 2 hours each session
- Senior Resident Against GDMOs: The candidate will be offered pay as per level 11(1) of the matrix as per 7th CPC plus other allowances under Govt. of India.
