Govt. Degree College, kaikalur caters to the educational needs of the lower income groups of kaikalur and its suburbs. 75% of the students come from the suburbs and 50% of them are girls. If the college is a temple of learning, the college library is the heart. Our college has a good library with 1000 books on various subjects and encyclopaedias for reference. Most of the students of the college hail from rural areas and are economically poor. Such poor students are provided assistance from accumulated students fees in the name of Poor Students Fund, irrespective of caste and other considerations.
