Women Institute of Technology offers Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech.) under various disciples. Admission is granted using a two-step screening process. In the first step, applicants are screened on the basis of eligibility criteria. The second step screening is done on the basis of marks scored in JEE Main entrance exam. The first year referred to as ‘Applied Science’ is common for all students. Specialization has to be selected from the commencement of the second year.

WIT B.Tech. Selection Process 2024

The selection process at WIT for B.Tech.course is the final stage of the admission process. Candidates applying after completing Intermediate in Science are selected on the basis of JEE Main exam score through Uttarakhand Online Counselling. For those applicants applying for admission via lateral entry (Diploma), UKSEE (Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam) is conducted during the month of May/June and selection is done on the basis of these scores.

Admission process for the graduate course provided by WIT is conducted on the basis of performance of candidates in their past academic exams along with performance in the entrance exam. Steps to Apply for WIT Admission

In order to seek admission at WIT, candidates should follow the below-mentioned steps:

• Step 1: Candidates intending to apply for B.Tech. course need to visit the official website of WIT and select “On-spot Counselling” option on the webpage.
• Step 2: The website will be redirected to a Google Form. Candidates have to log in using their email id in order to proceed with the form-filling. 
• Step 3: In the registration form, all personal and educational details are to be filled correctly. Applicants should also select their prefered branch of engineering. 
• Step 4: Scanned copies of above-mentioned mandatory documents have to be uploaded in the Google Form.
• Step 5: A processing fee of INR 2000 for counselling has to be paid. Details of the processing fee payment can be found in the form. Confirmation of the processing fee payment is to be uploaded in the form. 
• Step 6: After uploading all these documents, the applicant can submit the form.
