The university is the most popular for the Engineering, Management and Media programs. As there are several universities located in the city, the competition level among the institutions is high. Although certain courses have higher tuition fees, generally, the course fee structure at Vishwakarma University is nominal. In the case of students who have difficulties, the university offers financial assistance through loans and scholarships as well.

The average fee for the entire course period of B.Tech programs is around INR 11,00,000, and for other programs in Arts, Science and Management, the fee ranges between INR 4 lakhs to INR 5 lakhs. For B.Arch program, it can come up to INR 8,50,000.

Well-Facilitated Infrastructure

The university has a great infrastructure with well-equipped laboratories, a library with a massive collection of print and electronic resources and impressive hostels, among other facilities. The infrastructure has all the necessary amenities that can enhance the overall learning and research experience of the students. The campus has Wi-Fi throughout and is mindfully constructed to favour the environment. Hence, it is regarded as an EcoCampus. 

The library has specialised materials for all the disciplines offered in the university, ranging from Engineering to Music courses. It also consists of video conferencing facilities where video courses by NPTEL, Swayam Programme, and ePGpathashala can be accessed. 

With SLIM software, the library is completely computerised with Barcode technology, enabling students to use the biometric system to exit/enter the library. In addition to that, the WEB-OPAC system is used for students to search for resources without assistance.

The university has well-equipped laboratories for the designated disciplines, which have all the required facilities for advanced practical experience. From computer labs to media labs, the campus infrastructure comprises all kinds of laboratories with state-of-the-art facilities. To provide students with equal opportunities in sports, the university has a great infrastructure that consists of facilities for various sports.

With an adequate number of tables and chairs, the cafeteria on the campus is a major hangout spot for the students as well as the staff. Different types of food and beverages are served hygienically. The cafeteria is kept clean, and the food available is moderately decent.

Comfortable Housing Facilities

The university offers separate hostel facilities for its male and female students. The admission for hostels is conducted on a first-come, first-serve basis. The rooms are well-furnished with study tables, mattresses and pillows, and cupboards. The hostels also offer cleaning services through housekeeping. 

The hostel inmates also have access to clean water, a reading room, daily newspapers, two-wheeler parking, laundry service, indoor games and transportation facilities. Timely meals are provided to the students through a clean and hygienic mess facility in the dining hall.

The hostel has a CCTV security system enabled in the general area, with security services available 24/7. This ensures the safety and security of the students. The overall hostel fee is INR 1,05,000, which includes the charges for breakfast and dinner meals and a refundable deposit of INR 5,000. Aside from that, housing facilities are also available outside the campus in the form of paying guests, with monthly rents starting from INR 5000.

The university is moderately busy throughout the year, with at least three events happening every month. The university encourages extra-curricular activities and sports events to ensure students have a wholesome experience.

However, they must wear full-length trousers and tops/t-shirts with sleeves to maintain an overall decorum in the university.

The university has high placement rates, especially for students graduating from the Engineering and Management disciplines. An average of 89% of students are placed in different companies every year. In the past years, the highest salary package was INR 20 LPA, with the average salary package being 4 LPA. There has been an increase in the placement rate over the years as well.
