Students who wish to pursue Vidyasagar University M.Phil (Women Studies) must fulfill the minimum eligibilty criteria as mentioned below. .

Educational Qualification	Required Eligibility
Completed Master Degree	55 %

The candidate must have completed master’s degree in the concerned subject
55% marks for General candidates and 50% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PWD category at PG level
60% of the total seats are reserved for the students of Vidyasagar University & autonomous college(s) affiliated to V.U and the rest 40% seats are reserved for the students of other universities
Candidates that are qualified at the NET/ GATE/ SET/ UGC (JRF)/ CSIR (JRF) or any other examination that considered equivalent by the BRS shall also be exempted from appearing the Written Admission test and will have to appear at the interview.
