INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION

There are five hostels are for boys and girls. Hostel fee is INR 21000/year Other options are also available rooms on rent, private hostels though the cost of both is nearly same. Food in the mess is not enough good and healthy, it costs around INR 10000/semester. Quality of classrooms, labs is best and infrastructure is very comparable to IITs and cleanliness, trees and pollution control is best.

INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION

There are 2 boys and 2 girls hostels which are more than enough to accomodate the students. The annual fees is Rs. 20,000 approximately including internet,washing and ironing charges. The mess charges are Rs. 1,900 per month.
There are many PG's, private hostels and mess if you prefer those.
The food here is like any other mess you find in a college.
The infrastructure our college has is the best! The campus is green and offers lot of shade given the number of trees planted.The library, departments buildings, labs, workshop etc. are all sophisticated like you have never seen before. Wi-Fi facility is available in hostel as well as department buildings.

There are total 3 boys as well as 3 girls hostels. Hostel fees-20000 Mess fees-20000 Food is good as compared to other institutes Features of hostels-fully wifi hostels -ironing, washing machine, hot water available.

Infrastructure Facilities at Vidya Pratishthan's College of Engineering:

Library:

VPCOE Library plays a vital role in acquiring organizing & disseminating knowledge.

It has put in place policies and procedures systems and services and ambiences facilitate knowledge required for understanding & strengthening of subjects in Engineering.
This library has an excellence collection of books & journals and othe reading materials.
It has good collection of CD-ROMs.
There is a adequate infrastructure to meet its requirement and has all its operations using software developed in-house, providing access to the collection through Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC).
It uses Bar-code Technology for transaction of books.
The Library has a pool of 20 machines connected to internet for surfing world wide knowledge ocean, various important professional E-journals and accessible to staff and students.
During preparation period and examinations, over 350 students take advantage of Library Reading Hall facilities.

Hostel:

The Vidya Pratishthan provides comfortable clean and safe hostel accommodation, with requisite amenities and facility for about 1000 boys and 520 girls within the campus.
For First year 100 girls and 180 boys can be accommodated in the hostel.
The rooms are connected to main server by Wi-Fi / High-speed optic fiber Gegabit Network.
Local / STD service is available within the college campus.

Sports and Games:

The department of Physical Education provides indoor as well as outdoor sports facilities, which are located in the college campus itself.
The indoor recreation hall provides facilities for Basket ball, Table Tennis, Badminton, etc.
The Gymnasium for boys as well as girls is equipped with the latest equipment and modern amenities.
Two full-fledged gymnasiums, one for the boys and the other for the girls, functions with the latest equipments and modern amenities.

Portable Water Supply:

Purified drinking water is made available through out the campus at various working places including hostels, staff quarters, and canteen & cafeterias.
In addition to this around 6 Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Filtration units are also installed in the V P C O E campus.

Electrical Supply:

The college has a separate dedicated 250 KVA electrical power supply set up supported by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL).
As the college campus is located in MIDC area, uninterrupted power supply is ascertained.
In addition to this the college has separate 380 KVA Generator set to cater the need of power in case of major power failures.

Telephone Connection & Fax

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) has made available 579 PRI Line in the entire campus of Vidya Pratishthan to have communication within the campus through Intercom lines.
These lines are enabled through computerised Intellicon EPABX system.
