Vidya Institute of Fashion Technology (VIFT) was established in 2008. VIFT is located in the Meerut city of Uttar Pradesh. VIFT, Meerut is among the only five institutes offering Fashion and Apparel Design that have been approved by AICTE. VIFT, Meerut offers programs in fashion and apparel design and thus aims to produce and nurture creative professional designers who can compete in the global fashion and lifestyle landscape. 

Bachelor of Fashion and Apparel Design (BFAD), Diploma in Fashion Design (DFD) and Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design (ADFD) are the courses offered by Vidya Institute of Fashion Technology.

• For BAFD, candidates should have passed Class XII from a recognised university with a minimum of 50%.
• For DFD, candidates should have passed Class XII from a recognised university.
• For ADFD, candidates should have passed a Diploma in Fashion Design or any other equivalent qualification from a recognised university.
