Hostel
Library: VELS University library has a seating capacity of 500 people and an Open Access System. It houses 130236 books, 165060 e-books, 12660 back volumes, 4539 dissertations, and 5254 audio-visual resources. More than 374 periodicals (national and international) and 12535 e-journals are available. The digital library provides access to electronic information services. Staff and students have access to EBSCO, ProQuest, J-Gate, IEEE/IEL, ASME, NPTEL, etc. A completely automated library information system with barcoding of books, non-book materials, and ID cards is available, allowing for laser scanning of issues and returns.
Research Activities: VELS University offers various equipment to the students.
Transportation: VELS Institute of Science Technology & Advanced Studies campus area is well connected to the local electric train network. Students can use the city transport corporation buses and buses that run between the Pallavaram Railway Station and the university at affordable prices.
Auditorium: The campus has a 1500-seat air-conditioned auditorium named Shivalayaa for seminars, conferences, and intra- and inter-university cultural fests. It is one of the largest auditoriums that allows students to showcase their natural skills during their studies.
Conference Hall: The VELS University infrastructure has five well-equipped air-conditioned conference halls with the latest audio-visual technology, making seminars and conference sessions more exciting.

The infrastructure is pretty decent. There are many hostel buildings for men and women. There are sufficient number of classrooms and labs for the students. The college food is average in taste, but healthy. There are no connectivity issues, and the campus does have wifi connections.

5Hostels are here Hostel makes you a family Fee: INR 45,000/Sem PG: INR 2,000. Lots of PGs here. Food Accommodation in my college by Sodexo company. Classroom educator system, lots of labs, peaceful library, e-library is here with full AC.

3 hostels are there. Hostels are good and INR 25000 per month. Food is nice and healthy. Infrastructure is very nice and clean.

More than 6 hostels available and not sure about the fee but it is around INR 60,000 per annum.
