During 2023 placements, a total of 14345 offers were made for the students. The VIT Vellore highest package in 2023 was recorded as INR 1.20 Crores per Annum. Tata Consultancy Services created a national record by extending a whopping 3719 offers to VIT students during 2023 placements.

Around 904 companies participated in the Vellore Institute of Technology placements 2023. Companies like Microsoft, DE Shaw and Co., Qualcomm, Intel, Amazon, Bank of America, Texas Instruments, JP Morgan, TCS Digital, etc., are some of the VIT University top recruiters in 2023. The main aim of the placement cell is to help students acquire the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the job market. The state-of-the-art infrastructure available at the CDC makes it easier to conduct placement procedures without any hindrance.

The VIT University placement cell provides placement training facilities like mock interviews, group discussions, workshops, seminars, etc., to help students improve their chances of placement. Some of the key objectives of the VIT Vellore placement cell are:

VIT Vellore Placement Process

The Career Development Center ensures the smooth functioning of VIT Vellore placements on campus. The step-by-step placement process of VIT Vellore is listed below.

• First, the CDC contacts potential recruiting companies and sends invitations and Employer Registration Forms (ERF).
• Once the recruiting companies express their interest, fill out the ERFs, the recruitment dates are finalised.
• The students eligible for placements must then register themselves using the campus interaction portal of the institute.
• The selection process is then organised for registered students.
• Students who have cleared the selection process will be issued an offer letter through the CDC.
• The CDC also offers post-offer support once the recruitment process is concluded.
