Fees & Scholarships : Velammal College of Engineering and Technology, [VCET] Madurai [BE] (Mechanical Engineering) Fee Structure. The course fee at VCET is Rs. 77,700 per year excluding hostel fees. 10 Students per Class.  

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You should study maths, physics, and chemistry in the 12th standard. No entrance examinations, admissions are based on 12th marks cutoffs. Typical cutoffs for our course will be around 180-185.

Placements & Internships : I haven't yet attended internships. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS visit our campus. The average salary ranges from 5-6 lakhs, the highest salary of 12 lakhs per annum from ZOHO.

Academics & Faculty : It is good, their coaching is good. The quality and method of teaching are good, Academics are good, but there are no other extracurricular activities.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Two hostels are there, they are fine, hostel fee per month is around 8,000. Food is nice and meals are in the range of Rs.50 and the Quality of classrooms is good.

Clubs & Associations : There are NSS, NCC and other associations. No festivals, this is the main drawback. For academic purpose, it's good, for other activities it needs to improve.
