Department-wise Central Sector Scholarships
The procedure for online application and institutional verification of applications is as follows:
- Students in teaching departments should go to the national scholarship portal and apply (new/renewal) for eligible MHRD, UGC, and other agencies central sector scholarship programmes online.
- At the department office, submit a printout of the online application together with all supporting documentation.
- Before the deadline specified in the scheme's notification, heads of departments verify and countersign the applications and send them to the college development council for institutional level verification.
- Calicut University applicants will receive an SMS notification if their documents are successfully verified.
- The applicant is notified through SMS if there is a problem. The candidate can correct the error and submit the application to CDC via the HoD.
- The Calicut university scholarships are sanctioned at the discretion of the sponsoring entities involved.
