Symbiosis is a Greek term meaning 'Living together for the mutual benefit of each other based educational and cultural center of international standards established in 1971, under the patronage of Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, President & Founder Director. Symbiosis Law School was established in June 1977, was earlier affiliated to the University of Pune, and later became a constituent of Symbiosis International University in 2002, with an enhanced degree of autonomy in teaching, learning, and research. 

Symbiosis Law School offers 5 years of honors courses namely BBA LLB, BA LLB along with 3 years of LLB, 1year of LLM,   and Diploma and Certificate Courses. The admission in the institute is Entrance based/ Merit-based. SLS Pune Admission 2024 open for UG, PG Courses.
