The highest package offered for students of the M.Sc- CA and M.Sc- SS programs are INR 14.00 LPA and INR 9.60 LPA, respectively. Similarly, the SICSR average package offered for those programs was INR 7.37 LPA and INR 5.58 LPA. The institute is yet to release the placement data for the latest year, SICSR placements 2023.

SICSR Placement Cell

Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research Pune has a placement cell that takes care of all the placement activities of the institute. The SICSR placement cell consists of the Director, Deputy Director, Program In-charges, Placement Officer, and Students. All of them work in unison to provide the best placement opportunities for eligible students. The SICSR Pune placement cell organises various placement training sessions like aptitude tests, technical tests, mock interviews, group discussions, soft skills, etc., to prepare students for the final placements.

The placement cell also organises guest sessions by industry experts on career counselling, soft skills, and entrepreneurship. The cell also prepares students for competitive exams through various training sessions. The Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research placement cell conduct students’ audit to understand the required development to make them industry-ready.

SICSR Placement Process

The SICSR placement cell organises the annual placement drive for final-year students. The step-by-step process for conducting SICSR placements is given below.

• Interested recruiters connect with the institute's placement cell and prepare for job roles.
• The cell then shares a Corporate Response Sheet with interested companies. Companies then send the CRS after filling all sheets with complete job details.
• The SICSR placement cell then shares the details with students along with a note of placement rules and regulations.
• The selection process will be conducted either on campus or online, depending on recruiters' convenience.
• The date and time of the selection process are finalised after a discussion between recruiters and the placement cell.
• The selection process is then conducted on pre-announced dates, either on campus or online.
• Post-selection process, recruiters issue an offer letter to students who have cleared the selection process.
• Once students accept the offer letter, the joining date and acceptance of the offer are shared with the company by the placement cell.

SICSR Internship

The Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research placement cell organises an internship program for UG and PG students. Post-completion of their 3rd semester, PG students must take up an internship for 4 to 6 months. UG students join internships after completing their 5th semester. Most of the SICSR Pune internships are paid. Internships provide students an opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge and skills in the industry and gain professional experience. SICSR is yet to release the internship statistics.
