In exercise of the powers vested under section 7 (b) of the Act, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University has established the Directorate of Distance Education to assist those that want to pursue higher studies, but are unable to try to to so through regular mode of education thanks to job constraints, family commitments or remoteness of location.

The Distance Education Council of state of India has accorded recognition to the University for offering programmes through distance education mode also vide letter no. DEC/Recog/2009/3174 dated 09.09.2009, on the advice of the Joint Committee of the University Grants Commission, All India Council for Technical Education and Distance Education Council. Accordingly, the University has started Distance Education programmes at undergraduate and post-graduate levels with effect from the tutorial year 2009-10 in various disciplines.

As per UGC letter no. F.9.37/2008(CPP-1) dated 06.02.2009, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, being a State approved private University u/s 2(f) of UGC Act 1956, is competent to award degrees laid out in section 22 of the UGC Act 1956. The programmes conducted by the University through distance education are identical in content to the courses offered through the traditional mode. Consequently, as per Government of India Gazette Notification No. 44, F.No.18-15/93-TD.V/TS-IV dated 01.03.1995, the degrees awarded by the University through distance education stand automatically recognized for all purposes, including employment to posts and services under the Central Government.

Swami Vivekanand Subharti University may be a University under Section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 found out under the Swami Vivekanand Subharti Vishwavidyalaya Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam, 2008 (U.P. Act No. 29 of 2008) as gone by the Uttar Pradesh Legislature and assented to by the Hon'ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh in September 2008.

The University has been established under the aegis of Subharti K.K.B. public trust, Meerut, which has acquired a commendable record of service within the field of Education, Health care and welfare.

The main campus of the University is within the capital Region, strategically situated on National Highway 58, Delhi-Meerut-Haridwar Bypass Road, Meerut. The campus, aptly called Subhartipuram, is cover a sprawling area of about 250 acres of land comprising magnificent buildings, lush green lawns and vibrant surroundings with over 8000 people, determined to form this a ‘Jewel’ within the Crown of the state.

The University has several constituent colleges which give education in most the disciplines like Medical, Dental, Paramedical, Pharmacy, Engineering, Management, Law, Journalism, Education, Arts and Science, thus engaged in creating highly qualified, academically and technically proficient professionals.

The University has also started variety of courses through Distance Education, approved by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC.

• Swami Vivekanand Subharti University Distance Learning Education offers admission to several UG Courses like B.A., B.B.A., B.Lib., B.Sc., B.C.A.,B.Com. and Diploma programmes and a number of other PG Courses like Post graduate diploma, M.A., M.B.A., M.Lib., M.Sc. M.C.A. and M.Com.
• The selection to all or any the courses is only supported merit.
• The basic eligibility criteria is to pass the previous examination.
• The admission forms can only be filled offline. they're to be submitted at the Directorate Distance Education (DDE) of the university.
• Established within the year 2008, Swami vivekananda and Subharti University may be a private university located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The University provides both regular course and distance learning courses for the scholars. All the space courses are approved by UGC/DEB.

• To pursue B.Lib. the scholars should have completed graduation from any recognized University.
• To pursue anybody of the opposite UG courses, students must have a minimum of passed their 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board.
• The students are selected to varied courses supported their performance in 12th or equivalent exam and therefore the entrance examination conducted by the university.
• The more their marks in school XII, the upper their chances of admission.

Swami Vivekananda and Subharti University Distance learning education offers several distance learning education PG courses like M.A., M.B.A. Dual specialization, M..B.A. Single Specialization, M.Lib., M.Sc. M.C.A. and M.Com. To pursue anybody of the opposite PG courses, students must have graduated from the relevant stream from a recognized University.

• The students are selected to varied courses based purely on their performance in graduation or equivalent exam.
• Students need to appear for the doorway Exam conducted by the school.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA

The college offers MBA with dual specialization and MBA with single specialization. The course is for 2-5 years of duration, including internship.  The specializations offered under MBA dual specialization are:

• Information Technology

• Marketing Management
• Production and operation Management
• Financial Management

Specializations offered under MBA single specialization are:

• Hotel and Tourism Management
• Telecom Management
• Fashion and Pharmaceutical Marketing

• The students who have completed their 10+2 from any recognized board are eligible to use.

• The essential eligibility criteria is that the scholars should have completed their Graduation within the relevant field with minimum qualifying marks.

 Subharti University Distance Education Application Form

• Application are often sent to DDE directly or through its city office at Lokpriya Hospital, Meerut. The applicant's eligibility are going to be checked and accordingly he/she shall be granted admission and an acknowledgement of the receipt of the fee and therefore the form shall be issued.
