The eligibility criteria to get admission in SRISIIM is not so tough rather competitive. The admission process includes nation-wide entrance exam, followed by a college entrance exam and interview. The college focuses more on average or below-average students rather giving admission to toppers or so-called creamy layer. I gave MAT entrance exam where my score 96 percentile before taking admission to SRISIIM. There is no criteria for cutoffs, as I have already mentioned above that college believes in upskilling and placing the average students.
Placements & Internships :
I have undergone my summer internship in the Blue Economy domain through my college. My internship was with MRC Pune which runs Under Water Domain Awareness 6 weeks programme to show the students about the future of Blue Economy in India. Two of my friends have done their summer internship from Doha Bank, Qatar and also some students have done their internship from MNCs in Gurugram. The students are being placed across the nation and even internationally, many students who have passed in previous years are working in Doha Bank, Qatar and UAE Exchange. Several students have been given the opportunity to go abroad in previous batches. The placement percentage is 100 because more or less everyone was placed in a reputed organization based upon the level of the student. The Alumni network is so friendly as I have met many of them in our 5th convocation. Most of them were ready to help anytime to all of us.
Fees & Scholarships :
The course fee is 4 lakh for complete two years. There are numerous scholarships available for different sections of society. The college is based out of trust, so it is ready to help anytime as per the family background and educational qualification of the respective student. Although there is no need for a bank loan because 4 lakh in the current scenario is a manageable amount for Management course, still college provides the complete bank loan process.
Academics & Faculty :
The daily routine starts with the Sadhana, followed generally by the Rev. Swamiji's class. The chairman of our college teaches us Leadership through Bhagwad Gita and specifically focuses on the overall growth of students, both IQ and EQ,i.e., Intelligent Quotient and Emotional Quotient. The teaching methodology is well-managed as per the student diversification and background, students being from different backgrounds are taken ahead in a balanced manner. The college is unique among all other colleges across India because it is the only college which influences the students through Indian ethos and values and teaches Leadership through the principles of Bhagwad Gita.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
There are plenty of rooms in hostel fully furnished well equipped with study table and cupboard. There is no need for PGs and hostel is available at a very affordable cost. The food served in college is sattvik,i.e., without onion and garlic. The quality is continuously tested by top-level management in an institute which helps to keep the food hygiene and nutritious. Also, the hostel has 24*7 electricity back up and high-speed wi-fi. The college has a well established library which also includes a digital library and a well-equipped computer lab and projector in every classroom.
Clubs & Associations :
The college has a well established CSR cell with the name of CSR Uttaran, Centre for Social Responsibility. The annual budget allocated to CSR is around 25 lacs and the Bhandara are being organised on several occasions outside the campus. The college doesn't follow any particular religion and celebrates all the festivals with full enthusiasm. Some common celebrated festivals are Lohri, Holi, Navratri, Deepawali, Christmas. In a nutshell, it is great place to study and make your future bright.
