Library

The SRG has a spacious, well-furnished digital library with good collection of textbooks, reference books apart from numerous journals and magazines. On-line library facility is also extended which provides access for browsing of 120 international, national journals, conference proceedings, seminars and workshops. The extended hours of library facilitate the students to browse books as well as Internet beyond the class hours.

Transportation

Six buses ply on the arterial roads connecting Namakkal with major towns nearby. The bus routes are given below.

Hostel

Hostels at SRG Engineering College are ultra - modern and provide an ambience conducive to learning and all round development. The cuisine is both South Indian and North Indian (veg. & non-veg.).

We have separate hostels for boys and girls inside the campus with all the required facilities for students. Different types of fully-furnished rooms (single occupancy deluxe room to 8- bedded rooms) are available in the hostel offering the students a wide range of choices.

A Lady Warden with supportive supervisors is taking care of the Ladies’ Hostel; and 4 supervisors (3 teaching & 1 supportive non teaching) take care of the Boy’s Hostel. We provide the students nutritious and wholesome food and ample convenience for rest and relaxation and unhindered study.

Canteen

Canteen is functioning inside the college campus, which caters the needs of both staff and students. The cuisine is available in both modes of vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Tea and snacks are available throughout the timing hours of the college.

An ambient and delicious food court is available with a provision for modern kitchen and dining facilities. The Canteen is situated inside the college campus. Cool drinks, ice creams, bakery items, lunch and hot snacks are available there at reasonable rates in a clean and pleasant ambience. Students, staff members and parents are benefitted by this service.

Co-operative Store

Telephone booth with a provision of STD, ISD, FAX and XEROX Copies are provided in the campus, Hostel, department buildings, canteen, co-operative store etc., for the benefit of students to have tele-communication Facility when needed.

Co-operative Store is functioning inside the college campus. All the students can utilize it for their needs. It provides many kinds of stationery items, cosmetics, eatables etc.

Gymnasium

Our college is blessed naturally with well aerotic air circulation, since it is situated on SH - 95, Mohanur Road, 9 km from Namakkal. In order to keep a proper BMI chart reading, our students are regularly using the gym. The total built up area of the gymnasium room is 40" X 36".
Students are regularly taking part in the gymnastic activities to build the body.
