Training & Placement Cell The T & P cell holds the objective of acquainting the students of the Institute with Industries. The Placement cell organizes and extends services towards collaborative placement activities. The cell conducts training activities for the MBA students mainly focusing on Career planning, Personality Development Industry- Institute Interaction, in plant training, Industrial visits, Campus placements, Entrepreneurship Development. Continuous interaction of the cell with the Alumina also helps in achieving the goals & motivating students to contribute in this direction. The Placement Cell is consistently committed to achieve cent percent placement due to SIBM/SITE Groups unique specialization in Marketing, Human Resource Information Technology and Finance a booming Sector. The academic pedagogy of the curriculum is made complete in tune with placement strategy, by introducing students to Corporate World Environment, through summer training exposure in various industries. Management events are conducted to develop all round personality, and students are kept personally and professionally updated to the unfolding dynamic environment. Infrastructure & Facilities Academic Block The academic block with lush green second floor is broken up into lecture theatres, faculty rooms, computer lab, breakout spaces and a conference room. These floors are planned to encourage interactions, exchange of ideas and brainstorming sessions. Modern teaching aids involve tools like multi-media notebooks, LCD and over-head projectors, speakers, Wi-Fi access etc. They are effectively employed to make the learning process more interesting and interactive. Library SIBM Management has well stocked fully automated library. It has established library which includes International and national journals, books, reference sources, databases of projects and other magazines & resources etc. Wi-Fi enabled, Library comprises of Student Zone that can be used to study or read newspapers and magazines. IT Infrastructure Wi-Fi enabled, all areas of the campus enjoy the internet irrespective of where you are – in your hostel or in the academic block, doing research in the library or sitting in the Computer Lab, which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and is available 24 hours six days a week. Fee Waiver Scheme The State Government has started a fee waiver scheme to help the economically poor but meritorious students. Further information regarding this can be obtained from the office of the Registrar. Education Loans Getting Education is no longer an insurmountable problem these days. Education loans are available to the needy and deserving students from the Nationalized Banks at reasonable rates of interest. Theses loans are repayable after the completion of the degree/diploma. Financial Help It is a motto with the management of our Group, “Poverty would not be allowed to stand in the way of the completion of the education of meritorious students. Such students are generously helped. Academically intelligent and poor students to acquire higher education by giving them financial help in the form of tuition fee waiver. Relaxation in tuition fee is also given to merit position holders in the qualifying examinations/competitive examinations and position holders in the University examinations. The parents of meritorious students are also honoured along with the students in the annual functions of the Colleges.
