Library

The Central Library plays a vital role in providing opportunities to the students and staff members to enrich their knowledge. The college library is well maintained with 16,919 books, 65 National Journals, 35 International Journals and more than 1000 CDs, which is well above the norms. All operations in the library are fully computerized. We make all efforts to inculcate reading habits in the students and also to provide them with all necessary assistance. At a time, one student is entitled to issue 3 books in his/her name for a period of 14 days. As an adventage to the class toppers, some provisions has been made:

• Issuance of 3 aditional books for first ranker.
• Issuance of 2 aditional books for second ranker
• Issuance of 1 aditional books for third ranker

Transportation:

SSIPMT takes a very good care of all the needs of its students. Excellent transportation facilities are rendered to them. SSIPMT possesses a fleet of 18 buses for students and staff members to provide pick-n-drop facility from all corners of the city. We also provide bus facility to students from Bhilai.

Hostel:

What could be more important than finding a place to think, to eat, to relax , to sleep & to study? At SSIPMT, we make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible so that you can concentrate entirely on studies. SSIPMT provides quality accommodation to the students heading from distant places. Presently, we have facilities for accommodating 200 boys and 80 girls. The hostels for boys and girls are situated within the college campus and are very well secured (24X7). The environs of the campus is free from the hustle bustle of the city and is therefore highly appropriate for studying. Each room is furnished with cots, study tables, chairs and storage racks. Every effort is made to provide homely atmosphere for the hostellers. At the same time, they are also required to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations laid by the institution.

Facilities:

College Mess, good food, good health and good life are inter-related. With this perception in mind, the Management of SSIPMT provides excellent Mess facilities to the students. Our College Mess, which can accommodate around 150 students at a time, is built up in the campus premises. Pure vegetarian, nutritious, hygienic and homely food is served. The Mess caters to the need of all streams of academy and hostellers with breakfast, lunch and dinner. The institute provides conducive and healthy atmosphere in the Mess and makes sure that quality food is served at reasonable price. Canteens are more than simple hangouts which add different flavors to our life. The Canteen at SSIPMT is an open arena for debate, a little gossip and some hilarious moments and memories accompanied with cutlets, samosas, potato chips, tea, coffee and coke in between as gap fillers. It builds up an ambience of rendezvous where our students love to spend their leisure hours with their friends keeping away all the hassles of life.
