Infrastructure Facilities at Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Engineering & Technology, [SSIET] Bhilai:
Central Computer Facility:
- The Central Computer Facility [CCF] of SSIET Bhilai takes care of the maintenance of the hardware and software of about 350 computers and peripherals of the institute
- The CFF itself has 350 computers
- It has 350 lates PIV HP Compaq IBM nodes
- It has the internet facility of 10 Mbps bandwidth
- It also has 30 printers including colour and non-colour lasers
- It contains handheld PC, scanners and licensed software
Hostel Facility:
- SSIET Bhilai has separate hostels for boys and girls
- The kitchen of the Institute offers snacks, meals, soft drinks and many more
- The hostel facility includes a dining hall, common rooms, dispensary and infirmary, gymnasium etc
- All the rooms of the hostels are equipped with chair, table, mattress, bed etc
Central Library:
- The Central Library of SSIET Bhilai was established in 2009
- It gives online access to various reference journals and periodicals
- Online journals like DELNET are subscribed
- It has a huge collection of engineering books, SC/ ST book bank, scholar book bank for meritorious students and many more
Transport Facility:
- The Institute also offers transport facility to its students
- The facility is subjected to the availability of the seats
- The transport fee has to be paid in advance
