Placements & Internships : After my second year was completed, we were instructed to do a 15 days internship in any well-recognised company. We were given all the instructions about the internship by our teachers who always prove to be very helpful. Every year number of students get placed from my college from every branch. Many good companies like Infosys, Wipro, TATA, etc come to my campus and select the best ones accordingly who fit the job profile. Mostly, the students from IT and CS get placed very well in best software companies. Talking about the salary figure, the average salary figure here in my college is nearly Rs 4 lacs per annum. Today even after 32 years of my college establishment 70-80% of students get placed in good companies and that is what helps other students to become confident about their future here. The Alumni network is the important work which is done at the end of every year when the previous batch passes out. The Alumni's are invited and greeted. they address the present batch students very well that each one of them gets motivated at SSBTCET.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Hello. I am Snehita Dey. I was shortlisted for this college through MAH CET entrance examination conducted by the state itself. I had to go for electrical engineering so during caps round I entered this college's name for the branch electrical. As such, there were no typical cutoff marks. But, according to state ranking, the seat allotments were made in the college. It was also seen that the seat allotments would be possible if the seats are not filled for the particular branch you want to opt for. So luckily seats were available on the branch I wanted so I was allotted a seat in electrical branch at SSBTCET.
