Students who wish to pursue Shia PG College Lucknow B.Sc in Computer Science must fulfill the minimum eligibilty criteria as mentioned below. .

Educational Qualification	Required Eligibility
Completed 12th	Must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board

Candidate must obtain at least 40% aggregate in the Intermediate or equivalent examination recognised by the University of Lucknow.
Relaxation of 5% in aggregate will be given to S.C./S.T. Applicants.

S.C./S.T./O.B.C. students get scholarships by the U.P. Govt. on the recommendation of the Principal.
Other deserving and poor students also get financial assistance by the U.P. Govt.
A large number of Fullfreeships and Half-freeships are awarded to deserving and poor students.
Best student in each faculty will get a Merit scholarship called S.Ali Zaheer Memorial Scholarship.
Another scholarship known as Maulana S.M.H. Tahir Jarwali Memorial Scholarship is also awarded to the Best Student in each faculty.
Students of Shia Community are getting a special scholarship called S. Mohd. Naqi Advocate Memorial Scholarship from the session 2000-2001.
Poor and deserving students are also given aid from the Students Aid Fund of the College.
